The Dog and Duck Public House
Set in orchard Kent countryside and owned by the same family for over 45 years, you are assured of a warm and friendly welcome at the Dog and Duck pub. A range of beers, wines and spirits is available, and there is always a choice of real ales. The bar menu is fairly comprehensive, from salads and ploughman’s lunch, through fish and chips, vegetarian and pasta dishes to 10oz steaks - not forgetting choices for the children – and a tempting pudding menu.
If it’s a special occasion, then the Dog and Duck team can cater for that too. A birthday, anniversary, Christmas party or corporate function – from a training session for six to a party for 75 – one phone call is all it takes to set the wheels in motion. Your week-end visit could find you enjoying a murder mystery, a music quiz or a theme night. There may be jazz playing or country and western from one of our local singers… You just never know!
We love the scampi and chips! Especially in the summer, relaxing in the colourful garden under a sunshade – lovely food, lovely location, sometimes a musician - who needs to go abroad?
