Access Statement

The Caravan Park

The caravan park is owner occupied, there are no letting units, nor are there facilities for tourers or tents.

The park itself is level. There are speed bumps on the roadways, which have either central cut out areas, or pathways around, for wheelchair access.

The laundry is accessed by a flight of three steps. It is not wheelchair accessible.

The Public House

The car park is level, but has a gravel surface. There is a level paved drop off area close to the main doors.

There are three doorways. The main storm porch has two low threshold steps. The doorway to the garden has one low threshold step. The third porch doorway to the family room, has double opening doors with a low threshold step. There is a ramp to this door which has a gradient of one in fifteen.

Internally the bars and eating areas are on one storey. There is a single low step between the bars, and another single low step to the hall/family room.

There is soft lighting in one of the bars, the others are brightly lit with softtone white lighting.

Assistance is always available.

There is a ramp with a gradient of one in twelve to the ladies, gentleman’s and unisex accessible toilets. These are brightly lit with white lighting.

Menus and price lists are available in large print, and assistance in reading these is readily available. Assistance dogs are welcome. There is one ‘No Smoking’ bar.

The garden is level and a mix of paving and grass. There are areas of scented flowers and leaves.
